The Fortuna Direct-to-skin Extra Large Patches provide targeted drug free heat therapy.

The use of heat therapy may help reduce muscular pain, strains and joint stiffness by warming the targeted area, and enhance the recovery process by increasing blood flow to the affected area.

The Fortuna Heat Patches are air activated, fragrance free and release constant and comfortable heat for up to 16 hours.

The Fortuna Extra Large Heat Patch is designed to provide targeted heat therapy to the lower or upper back.

Directions of use:

• This product is air activated. Open only when ready to use.
• Use on clean, dry skin. Tear open the plastic pouch and remove the heat patch. Remove the film from the patch to expose the adhesive. Apply the patch to the affected area, adhesive side onto the skin. For delicate or ageing skin, apply to clothing.
• Once the pouch containing the heat patch is opened the patch will heat up after several minutes. To remove, slowly peel off the patch. Single use only. Once used dispose in normal household waste.

Do not use:

• On broken, irritated and tender skin or sensitive areas of the body.
• On bruises or swellings.
• Whilst asleep or with pressure against the patch such as lying or sitting on the heat patch.
• On areas of the body where heat cannot be felt, or if you are bedridden or prone to skin ulcers.
• On infants, children under 16 or persons unable to remove the patch on their own.
• Do not use direct on aged skin 55 years or older.
• With other skin medications, lotions, cream or other heat sources.
• On the same area for more than 16 hours in any 24-hour period.
• More than one patch on the same area in 24 hours.
• With a bandage over the patch
• If the patch is damaged in any way.

Warnings:

• All heat patches have the potential to cause skin irritation, burns or blisters
• Discontinue use if ski sensitivity occurs or the patch becomes uncomfortably hot.
• Please refrain from using and consult a doctor in the event of any form of adverse reaction.
• Consult with a doctor before use if you are diabetic, pregnant, have poor circulation, nerve damage, a skin condition, or an allergy to sticking plasters.
• For external use only. Do not ingest as the ingredients can be harmful. If swallowed seek medical help immediately.
• If contents come into contact with skin or eyes rinse with water and seek medical help immediately
